Our 1st VTC Conference...

So, today is our first PD with video conferencing. We've been waiting for the technology department to come back for 45 minutes now. We've played hangman between the villages, played music and danced, and have pointed each of our cameras at random objects. Most of us have gone to our classrooms. Ahhhhhh, life in the bush.

UPDATE: We sat around waiting for the conference from 9:00am until 11:30am. Then we went to lunch. We were back at 1:00pm because they said they would be ready. They lied. We finally were packing up to leave at 2:00pm when the state trooper came in to talk to us. Then they were ready to go at 2:30pm. Darn! We were so close to being done!  So we stayed until about 3:30pm but then we got disconnected again. So we went to check on our mail at the post office. Sara and Nate (the married new couple) got 8 more boxes (on top of their already 21 boxes), Phoebe got her tv and another box sent from Anchorage and I got...nothing...  Great me!

The postmaster lady said we could come back to get our PO boxes tomorrow...we'll see if it happens...:)
